Questions
What does it cost a vendor to sell on AWS, Microsoft or Google Cloud marketplaces?
By the marketplaces' own published schedules: AWS Marketplace charges 3% on SaaS and data public offers and 20% on server products (machine images, containers, machine learning), with private offers at 3% under $1M, 2% from $1M and 1.5% from $10M. Microsoft Marketplace charges a 3% store service fee. Google Cloud Marketplace keeps 3% on standard offers, with the same kind of tiers for large private offers. For Snowflake, Databricks, AppExchange and Oracle no seller fee was found on a public page. Each marketplace page links the schedule it comes from.
What is a private offer?
A private offer is a price and terms negotiated between a vendor and one buyer, then accepted and billed through the marketplace. Each marketplace page says whether private offers are supported, with the source.
Which data and AI vendors are on which marketplaces?
The presence matrix on the home page shows it at a glance: one row per vendor, one column per marketplace, a check mark where the vendor has an official listing. Every check mark links to the listing itself; an empty cell means no official listing was found on the date shown.
Why are Snowflake and Databricks both vendors and marketplaces?
Both sell on the cloud marketplaces (AWS, Microsoft, Google Cloud) and both run their own marketplace, where other vendors publish data products, native apps and models. This site tracks both sides.
Where does the data come from, and how fresh is it?
Only from the marketplaces' own pages and public APIs: every listing links to the listing page it was read from, and every fee links to the marketplace's documentation. On the first of each month the site checks every listing again; a listing that disappears or changes its pricing model is recorded as a dated change, never overwritten.
Something is wrong or missing. How do I fix it?
Every vendor and marketplace page has Suggest a correction, and the listing pages have Suggest a missing listing. Each suggestion is checked against the marketplace page before anything changes.
